Find colours that flatter you

Skin undertone is the subtle hue beneath the surface, and it influences which colours make you look bright and rested. Answer four quick questions in natural daylight for a starting palette. It’s a guide, not a rule: wear what you love.

Get dressed in a minute

An outfit formula is a repeatable recipe: one top, one bottom, a layer, shoes and a finishing touch. Choose the occasion and the weather to get yours.

Five rules for a wardrobe that works

  • Start with what you wear. Your most-worn pieces reveal your real style.
  • Pick a base palette. Two or three neutrals make everything combine.
  • Add accent colours. One or two shades you love keep it personal.
  • Prioritise fit. A simple piece that fits beats a striking one that doesn’t.
  • Buy slowly. Wait a week before adding anything new.

Frequently asked

What is a capsule wardrobe?

A capsule wardrobe is a small, carefully chosen collection of clothes that all work together. Most capsules have somewhere between 15 and 40 pieces, built around a shared colour palette so almost everything can be mixed and matched.

How do I find my undertone?

Look at the veins on your inner wrist in daylight, think about whether silver or gold jewellery flatters you more, and notice how your skin reacts to the sun. Our colour finder combines these clues into a starting palette.

Do I have to throw away my clothes to start a capsule?

No. Start by sorting what you already own, keep the pieces you wear and love, and fill only the real gaps. A capsule is about using what you have more, not starting from zero.

How many outfits can a small wardrobe make?

More than most people expect. Ten tops, six bottoms and three layers can create well over a hundred combinations when the colours work together.

How can I make clothes last longer?

Wash less often and at lower temperatures, air-dry where possible, store knits folded rather than hung, and fix small issues such as loose buttons straight away.
